MTN Uganda has set new tariffs for data bundles with effect today.
According to an official statement, these are the new daily data bundles:
For 250/- one will get 25 MBs
For 500/- one will get 65 MBs
For 1000/- one will get 165MBs
For 2000/- one will get 365MBs.
Previously, the cheapest data bundles were 40MBs at 500/-, while 2,000/- would get you 300MBs.
This means that an increase of 65% has been effected, the first time ever.
According to CEO Wim Vanhelleputte, “this offer is permanent and customers will be able to get these bundles any time of the day.”
It should be noted, however, that MTN data tariffs remain the highest, albeit efficient.
