The impromptu military invasion of Bobi Wine’s National Unity Platform party early this week has understandably left the public whispering over what could have prompted such an act from the security forces in broad daylight without remorse.

At the time of the invasion, the p[contact-form][contact-field label=”Name” type=”name” required=”true” /][contact-field label=”Email” type=”email” required=”true” /][contact-field label=”Website” type=”url” /][contact-field label=”Message” type=”textarea” /][/contact-form]arty supremo Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu was addressing a group of people who had paid him a courtesy call at the headquarters only to be forced to cut it short before being led away by his Personal security for fear of being hurt in the process.

Army spokesperson Gen. Flavia Byekwaso had denied any knowledge of the ongoing operation at Kamwokya when asked by Chimpreports, an online news website on Tuesday.

Moments later however, Police Spokesperson Fred Enanga told the media that the operation had intended to effect the ban on use of military like attires like the red berret which had been reserved for the army late last year.

The explanation but still remained unconvincing as the public wondered why such operations were not carried out on the roads where people pass while putting on such contraband fatigues instead of ambushing the headquarters where very few were expected to be found!

This website has however established the actual reason behind the attack where over 1000 military personnel were diployed in an environment that looked exactly like a battle ground.

It’s publicly known that Kamwokya is enormously infested by regime spies with the president coming out to confess planting moles within the party ranks.

Party Secretary General Lewis Rubongoya would around the same time knowledge of Museveni’s spy claims, insisting it’s impossible to rule out such cases since the regime in power uses money to buy fighters’ loyalties.

Shortly after the attack, Kawempe North MP candidate Mohammed Ssegirinya aka Me Update attributed the attack to the work of an insider or insiders who could have been feeding the security with confidential information to the detriment of Bobi Wine’s party.

Not far different from the above assertions, we have found out that a regime collaborator at Kamwokya had informed the national intelligence agencies that there was a plan being hatched by the Kamwokya outfit to cause havock in Kampala and therefore fail the presidential elections from taking place.

It’s been reported that the highly distressed NUP leadership had arrived at the decision after a scientific research conducted by the group had revealed that he stood no chance whatsoever against the ruling President due to a number of factors mainly an unlevelled political ground a head of the polls early next year.

As such, Bobi Wine’s plan was to paint Kampala contagiously red and also supply his boys with neavy blue outfits similar to those of the military so as to stir confusion among the forces in the event that they are diployed to respite order on the streets of Kampala.

Almost all tailors in Kampala and outside were procured to make such outfits for the Kamwokya based party which would serve as uniforms for the demonstrators when the actual battle finally breaks out.

When the classified intelligence was served to the President, security had proposed that they stay patient, gather evidence and use it to prevent Kyagulanyi from participating in next year’s Presidential elections, a proposal Gen. Museveni outrightly rejected insisting he had no problem with the Kyadondo East MP being on the ballot as long as there is no violence involved.

As such, it was resolved that a search be conducted instantly to establish the depth of the erroneous plot and mitigate any possible damage.

The tailors were also ambushed and all the clothes found in their possession confiscated and warned not to do any work from Kamwokya.
