URA’s striker Steven “Desse” Mukwala was among the four players added to the cranes camp that is preparing for a friendly encounter with the BAFANA BAFANA of South Africa dated 10th this month at Orlando stadium in South Africa.

Mukwala, who rallies behind VIPERS SC’s Yunus Ssentamu, the Uganda premier league top scorer with fourteen league goals to his name whereas Yunus is ahead of him with only two goals. The latter has had a tremendous season with the tax collectors having twenty goal involvements so far this season, scoring fourteen and assisting six times in twenty-four appearances. The other three players that were also included are; Samuel Kayongo Ssekamatte ( Bright Stars), Yusuf Ssozi ( Police FC), and Geoffrey Wasswa ( SC Villa).

According to the CRANES head coach ( interim) Abdallah Mubiru stressed out that the inclusion of these other four players would be a way to go based on the current COVID-19 situation that requires being broad in the squad as some players may contract the deadly virus and that will not affect the team as there will be other options to chose on.
